Collected as part of a long-term biodiversity project on Huntingdon College’s Bowman Ecological Reserve n. of Prattville AL. Principal investigators: Paul Gier and Jim Daniels. Each month on the new moon we run a black-light bucket trap on a hillside overlooking a meadow and forest. Specimens over about 4mm in length (or 12mm for moths) are identified and counted. This project has been running since April 2023.
